Description
This is a reprint of Helen Mar Kimball Whitney’s “ Why We Practice Plural Marriage ” printed in 1884. Helen Mar Kimball was a plural wife of Joseph Smith, the Prophet. Upon his death, she remarried Horace K. Whitney for time only.
This pamphlet, following her previous pamphlet, ““ Why We Practice Plural Marriage ” printed in 1884, were in response to the false claims that Joseph Smith III (son of Emma and Joseph the Prophet) was making publicly against the fact that his father, Joseph Smith, the Prophet, practiced and taught the principle of plural marriage.
